Took some mates from overseas on an evening charter. Matt, the skipper, as well as being a great host, sure knows his stomping ground, as we came away with a good haul of snapper, which was what we were after.

As usual he was a great host, the gear is in top condition, boat is fast so gets you in the water quick as and he knows his stuff. fish weren't on the chew hard out but still came away with mixed bag of kahawai, snapper, trevelly, and a good gurnard so can't complain at that! All in all a awesome evening out on the pearl to finish the week off!

Awesome morning out on the black pearl this morning. Snapper for the boys, kingi for the queen few kahawai in amongst it too! Great hospitality from Matt! Real down to earth and realistic. Highly recommend to anyone looking to do a fishing charter.

  We had another awesome trip with Matt Dobson, he is friendly and has a very clean and tidy vessel, its a beast of a boat really. The fishing was a day of surprises starting with the weather followed by a mixed bag with Snapper, Gurnard, Trevally, Tarakihi, Kahawai all coming aboard... Cheers Matt boys were stoked....
